Banana Republic - Senior Designer (Director level role)
Womens and Mens Acessories
2022 - Current
Reporting to the VP of Design, I oversee the design and development of the full womens and mens non-apparel range, including handbags, footwear, belts & SLGS.
Initially hired to design mens footwear and bags, my role quickly expanded to include the full womens leathergoods line. This broader responsibility allowed me to shape a cohesive, brand-aligned product offering across all hardline accessory categories.
Coach New York - Design Director
Mens Leathergoods
2018 - 2020
I joined as a Senior Designer and was soon promoted to Design Director. Reporting to the VP of Design, I managed a team of four creative and technical designers, overseeing the end-to-end design and development of mens bags and SLGs from initial sketch to final production.
My primary focus was on the North American and Asian markets, with a strong emphasis on the outlet business. During my tenure, I played a key role in elevating the design handwriting and expanding the assortment of men's outlet bags. This initiative coincided with the successful introduction of the outlet business to a broader online marketplace.
Allsaints - Design Manager
Mens Leathergoods & Accessories
2011 - 2018
Over my seven years at Allsaints, I progressed from an Assistant Designer to Design Manager. Reporting directly to the Director of Menswear, I mentored one junior designer while leading the design and development of men's accessories, bags, and footwear, with a strong focus on washed and utility-inspired leather and woven goods.
I had the privilege of witnessing and contributing to the brand's impressive evolution—taking the accessories line from a modest capsule initially designed to complement the apparel business, to a robust, stand-alone full-scale wholesale business encompassing shoes, bags, and other accessories.
